The interview process itself is in two stages.
The first stage is predominantly introductory and is conducted over the telephone to reduce the amount of time you need away from work. It provides you with the opportunity to talk about your background, skills and experience, and for us to explain a little more about Edenhouse and the particular role.
Those who are successful then progress to the second stage, which is conducted at our office in Birmingham.
At this stage we undergo a more detailed discussion, which includes the following:
Skills and experience
Although many skills and experiences are common throughout the industry, it is your individual characteristics that set you apart. This is an opportunity to discuss your knowledge and experience in SAP, with attention to both technical skills and business process knowledge.
We are also interested in hearing about your background to understand how you got into SAP. This often tells a story in itself, whether its progression from end user to consultant, or directly from higher education into consultancy.
Technical assessment
You will be technically assessed by one of our senior SAP consultants in order to gauge your level of knowledge.
Consultancy assessment
Having strong SAP skills is just one part of the role, but you also need to have good consultancy skills. One activity we ask you to do is a presentation about a particular area of SAP, giving us an opportunity to see some of your consultancy skills at first hand.
